Subject Basic Solar PV Installation When: yearly, next is in May 1997.

How long: 3 weeks

Type of education: practice, theory Languages: English and Kiswahili.

For whom: People who are working hands-on in solar businesses and projects. Needed: secondary school, basic electrical knowledge and likelihood that the technician will be engaged in solar work after the course.

Fee: per course is $1500. Scholarships are available.

KARADEA is an NGO. Teach since 1993. It trains apprentices in 3-month supervised programs. It has tailored training packages, and field courses while a demonstration system is installed.
