Leaving School

"I thought I'd learnt everything at 15, I thought gee, you know, they make you stay here at school and it was becoming boring to me - the teachers were very austere - you do this, now why didn't you do that?, do this, don't do that, so straight down the line. You couldn't have fun, I felt, although looking back I guess I had just as much fun as anybody else"

Carried on in same firm for 12 years. Enjoyed dealing with public at counter.
