Tangowahine in Northland. Two or three other schools in area. Mentions Mangawhare. Moved to Hamilton, went to Tamahere for a year, finished in Lichfield. Back to Hamilton. Walked two miles to Tamahere school. Mentions draught-horse he walked in morning. Quite good at school. Certificate at 13 and a half.
