Monte Carlo, Dolly Vardon, the 24 hour cafe and pie cart in Garden Place. Bought the 8 O'Clock newspaper on a Sunday. Movies on Wednesday or Saturday nights. On a Saturday afternoon movies had "childrens clubs" showing cartoons. Treat for the week was a movie with ice creams.
