End of War

When war finished travel became easier because car tyres were more freely available. The end of the war meant people were working to get their lives together and to get rid of restrictions from all sorts of things. It broadened peoples outlooks. 1951 or 1952 there was a marvellous Queen Carnival to commemorate WWII. It raised money and there was a wonderful parade, which Ivan took a movie of.
