10-14: A five day course on Planning for Nuclear Emergencies will be presented by the School of Public Health, Harvard University, in Boston, Massachusetts. Topics include emergency planning both in the U.S. and other countries, with emphasis on accident source terms; standards and guides for emergency actions; training, drills and crisis management; and current research and development in this subject area. 10 June-26 July: Oxford Programme of Development Workshops offering a workshop on disaster management. Intended for experienced professionals in developing countries, the workshop will focus on practical issues and make extensive use of case studies. Emphasis on exchange of information and experiences among participants. Workshops on urban land development and planning and shelter provision and settlement upgrading will also be offered later in the summer and fall of 1985. 10-13: The International Aeromedical Evacuation Congress will take place September 10-13 in Zurich, Switzerland.
