INTERNET WORLD's "on INTERNET 94" (Mecklermedia, Westport, CT, ISBN 0-88736-929-4, $45, 203-226-6967) contains 230 pages of email list descriptions; 60 on e-texts, archives, FTP sites, and resource guides; and sections on freenets, campus-wide information services, commercial services, Usenet newsgroups, and WAIS- accessible databases. Michael Fraase's "Mac Internet Tour Guide: Cruising the Internet the Easy Way" includes point-and-click software for Macs hooked to the Internet, including the Eudora POP3 email client and a demonstration copy of TCP/Connect II. Buyers get two electronic updates to the guide. Fraase also maintains an Electronic Visitors Center with software you can download.
