A bibliography of connectionist models with symbolic processing can be FTP'd from sun.nn-sp-bib.ps.Z in pub/neuroprose on archive.cis.ohio-state.edu. It will also appear in a Kluwer book by Ron Sun and L. Bookman, "Computational Architectures: Integrating Neural and Symbolic Processes." [rsun@athos.cs.ua.edu, connectionists, 4/28/93.]

Matt Kennel (mbk@lyapunov.ucsd.edu) has circulated abstracts of papers on neural networks for financial prediction. Most of the papers are by A.J. Surkan and J.C. Singleton. [comp.ai.neural-nets, 5/8/93.]

UKaiserslautern has a new FTP server for its neural/fuzzy software and technical reports, including projects MOBOT, SPIN, and ALBATROSS. Some of the documentation is in German. Initial entries include core source for a Mac/Pascal neural fuzzy decision system and an unsupervised clustering system. Ask if you also need the user-interface code. Use binary FTP from Neural_Networks/Reports or Neural_Networks/Software/* on ag_vp_file_server.informatik.uni-kl.de, or reports_uni- kl/computer_science/mobile_robots/* on ftp.uni-kl.de. Uwe R. Zimmer (uzimmer@informatik.uni-kl.de), +49 631 205 2624, +49 631 205 2803 Fax. [comp.ai, 5/25/93.]

Ron Steriti has prepared a FAQ listing almost 50 archive sites for neural-network software. Write to steriti @dragon.cpe.ulowell.edu. [comp.ai.neural-nets, 5/26/93.]
