The Fulbright Scholar Program offers international opportunities in the social sciences, arts and humanities, sciences, and many professional fields. Activities in over 120 countries include undergraduate and graduate teaching, individual research, joint research collaboration, etc. 2-12 months. The US deadline is 01Aug97 for the 1998-99 competition (700 awards). PhD (or equivalent standing) and US citizenship required. ACM's Kanellakis Award honors theoretical contributions with significant impact on practice. $80K has been raised; another $20K is sought in order to give the award annually.
