MCC (Austin) is developing Internet directories, billing and payment services, security features, and other "middleware" to help companies transact business on the net. MCC's Enterprise Integration Network (EINet) employs 15 CS researchers in 3 federally funded for-profit pilot projects, and has alliances with Sprint, EPRI, and others.
