|Costing Guidelines for HIV/AIDS Prevention Strategies (UNAIDS, 143 p.)|
Our thanks go to a number of people who have valuably contributed to the production of these Costing Guidelines. Charlotte Watts, Patrick Vaughan and Anthony Zwi, from the Health Policy Unit, LSHTM, have provided invaluable support and feedback since the inception of this project. Useful feedback and comments were also received on draft versions from many people in UNAIDS/WHO/GPA, particularly Anita Alban, Stefano Bertozzi, Thierry Mertens and Doris Schopper. Steve Forsythe of AIDSCAP also contributed in this way.
Assistance was gratefully received from those who facilitated the field-testing of the Guidelines: in Zambia, Dr Roland Msiska and colleagues of the National AIDS, STD, TB and Leprosy Control Programme; in Cameroon, Alexis Boupda-Kuate and Jean-Claude Foumena-Abada of AIDSCAP, Gabriel Kwenthieu of Peace Corps Cameroon, Claude Cheta and Zakariou Njoumemi of IRESCO; and in Belarus, Vladimir Romantsov of Parents for the Future of Their Children NGO, Victor Zviagin and Svyatoslav Samoshkin of the Council of Peoples Deputees of Svetlogorsk Executive Committee and Roman Gailevich of UNAIDS Belarus.
Punam Mangtani of LSHTM and Julia Del Amo of University College, London assisted with field tests in Cameroon. Finally we would like to express our appreciation to Nicola Lord of LSHTM, who assisted in proof-reading and editing these guidelines.
