Slide 9: Senegal

Senegal

In Senegal the government decided in 1998 to develop its own plan to accelerate access to care and support for PLWH, and started implementing that plan in 1999.

Interested in the potential of the Accelerating Access Initiative the Senegalese government submitted an action plan for discussion to the UN.

This action plan is now being reviewed, and we are discussing with the Senegalese on how best we can support them.
