TV show the way of living ...

Tanzanian cultures have been greatly affected by the colonisation, by Germany, Great Britain and now the massmedia colonisation. Most of what is shown on television comes from Europe and USA and Tanzanians often believe that what they see is representing the European and American way of living, which is not the full picture. The Swedish Ethnic Days at Village Museum gave them a different view of the western society. It is important to show that even in so called western countries, as in for example Sweden, there is an interest to value and keep your own traditions.
