It was natural to arrange the visit from Skansen in the same way as the Ethnic Days were organised, with Swedish folkdancers, musicians and craft people. The staff from Skansen got an experience of Tanzania and got to know the Village Museum.

It is good for the two museum’s staff to be confronted with another culture and another way of museological thinking.
