This musical entertainment is a series of twenty-three songs interspersed with seven narrations. It describes life in an African city through the eyes of many of its inhabitants, and examines some of the forces which have drawn so many people into the city. 'African Jigsaw' is about Africa, but the situation it describes, of moving populations and overcrowded cities, also exists in many parts of the world.
