Objectives:

· to unite, educate, share ideas and experiences on home economics and improvement of the welfare of the womenfolk

· to help each other in thought, words and deeds especially in times of need

· to establish self help activities and family income generating projects so as to eliminate poverty

· to uplift the social, political and economic status of women and assist vulnerable children, orphans widows, disabled and the old

· to fight ignorance, poverty, diseases and hunger

· to solicit for funds and material assistance from individuals, government, NGOs and other donor agencies.

Activities:

· growing food and cash crops
· teaching members crafts, weaving, hygiene, nutrition and adult literacy
· afforestation
