Disasters (The International Journal of Disaster Studies and Practice) (English only)

This quarterly journal publishes scientific papers on physical, social, engineering and health aspects of disasters. It deals with prediction, prevention, preparedness and relief activities with emphasis on disasters in developing countries. Mass Emergencies (English only)

This international journal provides a forum for social scientists and planners. Past issues were particularly focused on social behavior and organizational problems associated with disaster prevention and relief activities in developed countries. Emergency Planning Digest/La Revue-plans des mesures d'urgence (English-French)

The Emergency Planning Digest publishes current information on a broad range of subjects pertaining to civil emergency planning in Canada and other countries, on a quarterly basis in English and French. UNDRO Newsletter (English and French)

Published and distributed free of charge by the Office of the United Nations Disaster Relief Coordinator (UNDRO), (Palais des Nations, 1211 Geneva 10, Switzerland). This newsletter provides worldwide information on UN relief operations, emergency preparedness activities and other significant events.

International Civil Defense Bulletin (English only)

The mimeographed bulletin publishes reviews and articles on civil defense matters and provides a bibliography of current literature on techniques and material used in accident prevention and emergency relief. Natural Hazards Observer (English only)

This quarterly newsletter is intended to strengthen communication between research workers and those individuals or agencies concerned with public action related to natural hazards. Emphasis is placed on disaster prevention, warning and mitigation in developed countries. Abstracts of recent publications or research reports are included. This newsletter, published quarterly by the Disaster Research Center of Ohio State University, provides information on disaster -related research conferences, seminars and publications with some emphasis on the social sciences. SEAN Bulletin (English only)
