The creation of Field Units is done after the initial configuration of the system.
Ensure that before creating Field Units the user, passwords, reception sites, and information on the emergency are defined during the initial configuration. If these are not defined, an error message will appear on the screen and installation will be interrupted.
The process is initiated once the user chooses the option "Prepare Field Unit" from the heading "Field Unit" of the main menu.

Remember. Before starting this process, ensure that you have as many 3 ½/1.44 MB formatted diskettes as Field Units that you need to create.
Once you have selected the option "Set up Field Unit", the program will show the Field Unit number to be created and ask for confirmation to continue. If the user decides not to continue, it will return to the main menu. Otherwise the program will ask which floppy drive you wish to use and whether that unit is ready.
In case the disk is defective, has information recorded, is not formatted, or if the unit is not ready, an error message will appear, and the program will return to the main menu.
The sequence of most important steps in creating Field Units is shown in the following figures:

For each Field Unit you wish to create, you must repeat this procedure.
