Measles, Yellow fever** | | |
This slide shows the basic schedule recommended by the WHO Expanded Programme on Immunization for immunization of infants in developing countries.
BCG - Bacillus Calmette-Guérin vaccine against
tuberculosis
OPV - Oral poliovaccine against
poliomyelitis
DPT - Triple vaccine against diphtheria, pertussis and
tetanus
Hepatitis B vaccine - (*) in countries with carriage rates of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) of 2% or more; scheme A is recommended in countries where perinatal transmission of hepatitis B virus (HBV) is high (e.g. South-East Asia), and scheme B in countries where perinatal transmission is lower (e.g. sub-Saharan Africa).
Yellow fever vaccine - (**) in countries where yellow fever is endemic; give at nine months with measles vaccine.
In addition, administration of tetanus toxoid is recommended for women of child-bearing age.
