The Government of Venezuela is hosting the International Conference on Natural Disaster Management from 11 - 14 October in Mérida, Venezuela. The Conference will focus on national experiences in disaster management, search and rescue, damage and needs assessment, reinforcement of damaged buildings, emergency medicine issues, and management of temporary shelters.
