[greenstone-users] Import of PDF documents

From Céline Guimbertaud Date Thu Mar 6 23:53:06 2008 Subject [greenstone-users] Import of PDF documents Hello, I?m trying to build a digital library with greenstone (2.75). I collected some PDF documents from my computer's file space, which I dragged and dropped into the new collection I had created. Then I added some metadata and built the collection. In my navigators (Firefox and IE7), I couldn?t open my documents in PDF-Format. I had the icons but could not find them. I looked in the greenstone files, my documents were imported in : C:\Program Files\Greenstone\collect\[Name of my collection]\archives\... C:\Program Files\Greenstone\collect\[Name of my collection]\building\assoc\... C:\Program Files\Greenstone\collect\[Name of my collection]\import\... And I couldn?t find them in html in the TMP file. But, when I built my collection, the navigators were searching the documents in : C:\Program Files\Greenstone\collect\[Name of my collection]\index\assoc\... I copied the PDF-files in this file, but it?s not very practical to do it myself. I suppose there?s an automatic function which I perhaps deactivated. Thank you for your help.
