Subject | [greenstone-users] automatic cover page generation |
Hello, I am hoping to use Greenstone and Ghostscript together to automatically generate a cover page for each document in the collection and add it to the PDF as a first page. This should happen automatically and transparently based on a document template, i.e. with a fixed header and some fixed text, and some dynamic text drawn from the dc metadata (author, year, title...) and formatted according to some rules. This would save us the time of manually creating a cover page for each PDF stored in the collection. Is such a feat possible? Does Greenstone already have some procedure of interacting with the Ghostscript API, or would I have to learn the PostScript language? Cheers Leon |
