This is a general problem I've been wondering about for a long time:what's
the best practice for representing multiple documents that are part of a
larger whole.

Extended Dublin Core has fields:isPartOf and isReferencedBy. I've been
thinking about create a master document and having its isReferencedBy fields
point to all of its sub-documents, which in turn have their isPartOf field
point to the master document.

Thoughts? Is there some other convention that's already in place?

Thanks!
