Hi Karen,

It could be a setting in IIS but I don't know which one....

Even when i try and access the GSDL locally, (ie on the machine it is
installed to), I still get the same error. This is when i try and
browse the virtual directory from within IIS as well as trying to get
into it via another PC.

I'm not actually switching from something else. I've been happily using
GSDL locally in a non-web server installation on one PC for sometime and
have decided that it is now time to move it onto a web server (on
another PC) so the whole world can then see my library/data. But alas,
some setting or permission level is preventing me from seeing
anything....

I bet it is something simple that i have neglected to do but it has me
beat...
