I have successfully managed to make Sun Java the default version on Ubuntu Edgy (i.e. when I now run the Java -version line I get the result you indicated I should get for Sun's 1.5). However thus far my problem is not solved. When I change to the gli directory and run gli.sh I get a 'you have chosen to open...' dialogue box and of course going further simply opens the file in gedit. I want thing to open the library interface of course! So what do I have to do now? Julian | |
