Subject [greenstone-users] encoding problems
Hi,
I'm using Greenstone v2.62.
I have a problem with the encoding. I'm Spanish and all my documents have
accents and special characters (□, □, ...)
In my collection I have a classify AZList -metadata dc.Title, but the
alphabetic sort is wrong. For example, I display:
1. BA□ARES, Formerio de
2. BAGAD o VAGAD

or

1. GONZALEZ VALLEJO, Pedro
2. GONZALO GONZALO, Gonzalo
3. GONZ□LEZ ALONSO, Jos□ Mar□a

but it should be:
1. BAGAD o VAGAD
2. BA□ARES, Formerio de

or

1. GONZ□LEZ ALONSO, Jos□ Mar□a
2. GONZALEZ VALLEJO, Pedro
3. GONZALO GONZALO, Gonzalo

Furthermore, for example, the document "□GER, San Pedro de" is in the letter
"G" when it should be in letter "A".

By the other hand, in the collection I have a search index:
document:dc.Creator "autores". I have a dc.Creator = D. Y□□EZ, but in the
search option, when I select "Search autores" and I write "Y□□EZ" in de box,
the result is O documents found. I think that this is by the accents and
special characters.

How can I resolve this problem?

Thanks in advance.
Regards.
