Subject	[greenstone-users] Upgrade Greenstone 2.70 to 2.72
Hi, I want to upgrade Greenstone on our production server. The only documentation I could find about upgrading was for Greenstone 2.60 on Windows. Basically this said that the old installation needs to be uninstalled, and the new one installed. Is this the case for an installation 2.70 to 2.72 on a Linux distribution. If this is the case then I assume that I will need to ensure that: The gli is not running (easy) The web server is shut down (it is only used to serve up Greenstone details) The collection is fully backed up Then I can run the uninstall script. Restore the collection Restart the web server. Graeme.
