you're right - of course ;-) - i just didn't pay attention to the
html structure, sorry. maybe i've been a bit too optimistic...
(having now looked at it, i must say that it's not well formed at
all, because content outside the body element isn't normally allowed
- though a browser might still display it as expected)

but it's possible to have document level metadata this way as well,
isn't it? so i usually proceed this way in order to get "pure
metadata" documents.
