Hi,
This is correct - build will rebuid the whole collection.

If this takes too long you can start building a second collection for
your new documents and use 'cross-collection' searching to search
across both collections.

Note - the build process is arranged so that the collection is still
available to users while the new documents/objects are included and
the indexes and classifiers are being built.

I have found the cross collection searching useful to quickly include
new documents, but I often rebuild anyway. A good option is to start
the build in the evening and come back in the morning to find it
finished.
