Subject [greenstone-devel] Developing clients for Greenstone 2/3 ?
Hi
I would be interested developing client software to interact with the
Greenstone collection system (as an alternative to the current .cgi
based interface, for example AJAX or to embed Greenstone in software
running locally).

1) Are there any examples of front-end / client dev projects (like the
VQuery application mentioned in the dev guide) ?

2) Considering the fact, that Greenstone 3 is out, does it make sense to
get into the Greenstone 2 C++ Source code given that this source is
already obsolete with the rewrite to Java ? (If I correctly understood
the news)
