yup - the MetadataCSVPlug works well - first off make certain that the first column has your pdf / word file name in it, then add the database to your ingestion list and put the MetadataCSVPlug at the top of your plugins list. to simply output the data you can use whatever the first column's names are as the features ie file title author description 1.pdf waves dude a book about waves by a dude would be formatted out with the {<tr><td>{title}<td>{author}... however to use the metatdata in the database in the gli you'll need to "explode the metadata" - to do this right click on the access database in the gli and select the "explode the metadata" option - now your column headers need to be linked to the metadata values ie file dc.title dc.author dc.description that last step has caused me some problems, so see how it goes from part one to part two - if you don't plan on adding metadata afterwards, or if you prefer adding it into your access database it wouldn't matter anyway...
