Hi Carla

I think the problem is that when GLI calls the script for exploding, its
not telling it that its gs3. To fix this properly will involve several
changes to code. I will look at it next week, and fix it properly.

In the meantime, you can edit your
gs2build/bin/script/explode_metadata_database.pl script.

look for

if (defined $collection && $collection =~ /w/) {
if (($collection = &colcfg::use_collection("", $collection, "")) eq
"") {
print STDERR "Collection $collection does not exist ";
die " ";
}
} else {
undef $collection;
}

Change the use_collection line to
if (($collection = &colcfg::use_collection("localsite", $collection,
"")) eq "") {

i.e. add localsite to the first argument. (assuming you are using
localsite and haven't set up a new site).

Then try exploding again. I haven't tested this as haven't got a
greenstone 3 setup on my computer at home. will look at it on monday,
but just wanted to tell you this in case it is enough to get it working.

Regards Katherine
