Subject [greenstone-users] Problems with the preferences options in Greenstone Library

Hello

We have recently published a digital library running over Greenstone 2.72. The adress is:

http://ibdigital.uib.es/gsdl/cgi-bin/library?a=p&p=home&l=en&w=utf-8

We have 2 main problems.

  1. If you go to the Preferences page it is not possible to make any changes. But if you try it once you have entered one particular collection it works correctly.
  2. We have built the collections using the Indexer MGPP with the options Stem, Casefold and Accent fold activated.

Please enter one collection, for example Mayurqa, and then go to the PREFERENCES page, then to SEARCH PREFERENCES and choose the option “Accent differences > ignore accents”,  then click  the set preferences button. Now click the Search button the navigator gives the following error message: HTTP 500 Inner server error

Our informatic has checked the Greenstone manual in order that all the greenstone directories have the correct permissions but the problem has not been solved.

Please, can you help me to fix these problems

Thank you very much
