I would like to change the formating of VList according to the user language.

I know that I can use the document metadata to show information based on the document language.
For example:
{If}{[dc.Language] eq English, {If}{[dc.Subject],[dc.Subject]}}
{If}{[dc.Language] eq French, {If}{[dc.Subject_fr],[dc.Subject_fr]}}

But, is it possible to make a conditional expression using the user language in the collect.cfg file?
Something like:
{If}{[l] eq fr, {If}{[dc.Subject],[dc.Subject]}}
{If}{[l] eq en, {If}{[dc.Subject_fr],[dc.Subject_fr]}}
