I really like Linux as a server/platform for greenstone. I am not a
systems administrator, nor do I have root on the current server where I
have Greenstone. I am a student. I find it really easy to work with on
Linux, and I have learned a lot by doing so. I don't think I would like it
on a Windows environment as much. OS X would be fine too.
