Update: Just so you don't have to download a 65Mb file containing many collections you probably don't need, I have made the collections available separately at:

I have been reading documentation for hours now and I just can$B!G(Bt figure out how one gets an existing example collection into the GLI so that you can base a new collection on it. I would like to use the

$B!H(BA simple image collection

  1. In the Librarian Interface, start a new collection (File $B"*(B New...) called backdrop. Fill out the fields with appropriate information. For Base this collection on:, select the item Simple image collection (image-e) from the pull-down menu.

When you base a collection on an existing one, it inherits all the settings of the old one, including which metadata sets (if any) the collection uses.$B!I(B

But how do I get the $B!H(Bimage-e$B!I(B to appear in the pull-down menu?

I$B!G(Bm sure this is the proverbial $B!H(Bstupid question$B!I(B, but I just can$B!G(Bt figure it out.

Thanks for any help anyone can give me.
