Dear Chaitra,

in the preference page you have to select appropriate font to display indiac script properly. Obviously you need to install that font in your system. The deafault in GLI is Verdana, Bold, 12
make it <you font>, Regular, 12 (you may change font type and size as per your own)

Hello,
I've been using GLI of greenstone- v2.7. The GLI doesn't display
Unicode characters properly. It displays boxes. This is causing a lot of
delay in creation of collections. Can someone suggest a solution to this
problem.?

Thanks.

Regards,
Chaitra
