Sounds weird - never seen that before!

Without seeing your html it's hard to know what is going on;

Is your css embedded in a macro? I don't think so from your email but
I thought I'd ask because both css and the macro language make use of
the same characters '{}' in their syntax. This would also make sense
in that macro files have heaps of '#' characters in them(comments).

The 'Garish' demo collection give a good example on how to include css
in a greenstone collection.

If you post the macros giving you trouble and paste the source of the
page that is not rendering correctly then we can have a look and try
to work out what is happening.
