I presume you mean the "library" executable?

No, each binary executable would need to be built specifically for the one platform - this because, like all programs, Greenstone needs to
communicate with the environment in a language that makes sense to the environment. Windows, Solaris and Linux all talk different languages!

You should be able to download binary installers for a number of
operating systems from the greenstone website.

If you've made your own specific changes, you will need to copy your
version of Greenstone across to those other platforms that you need and recompile on those.
