you can set these preseferences in main.cfg file inside etc folder:

#Maximun number of documents

cgiarg shortname=m argdefault=100

#Number of documents to show in results list (in this case, GS will show
groups of 30 documents in the list)
cgiarg shortname=o argdefault=30
