One common verdict has been passed on all alike" all have sinned. " Dear reader, I know not your character, nor your outward life; but whoever you may be, you are included in the word " all, " and therefore this plain statement from the Word of God, which affects everybody, affects you. You may be moral, respectable, even religious; but alas, you are a sinner. Your sins are under the eye of a thrice-holy* God. Have you ever owned to be, in His presence ?
