COMPENSATION
In compensation for the services provided according to the terms of the present contract, the Individual Contracting Party will receive monthly wages amounting to US$.............. payable at the end of each calendar month upon presentation of a certificate of satisfaction signed by the supervisor. Deductions from the wages are detailed in paragraph 5 in the appendix.

I acknowledge that I have read, understood and accepted the terms of the present contract, particularly the obligations, the duration of the contract, the working hours and the conditions of compensation.

CONDITIONS ATTACHED TO THE ABOVE-MENTIONED CONTRACT FOR PROVISION OF SERVICES
1 - MISSION
The employee must fulfill to the best of his capacities the tasks related to mine clearance that he is in charge of, including the use of metal detectors and explosives, probe detection of suspicious items, destruction of mines and other UXO (unexploded ordnance) and remains, marking off minefields, maintenance and security of mine clearance equipment belonging to the X Company.
2 - OBLIGATIONS - SECURITY:
The agent shall implement established methods and procedures only, and observe all the orders and rules given by the X Company. Any health condition susceptible of diminishing the efficiency of his work must be immediately reported to the supervisor of the mine clearing operations. Any breach of the measures and rules defined by the X Company will result in the agent being immediately dismissed.
3 - CANCELLATION
The present contract can be canceled by either contracting party after written advance notice is given to the other party. The notice will be five working days. In case the cancellation is requested by the employer, the agent would receive a compensation corresponding to five days of activity if he has been working for over two months.
No advance notice is required or compensation provided for in case of dismissal of the agent due to nonobservance of safety measures, unexcused absence and any form of disloyalty.
4 - WORKING HOURS
Working hours are under the responsibility of the supervisor of the mine clearing operations, 8 hours a day from mondays to fridays plus 5 hours on Saturdays. The agents will not be required to work over 40 minutes uninterruptedly when they are using a detector of performing operations of probe detection.
The agents will be granted four weeks vacation per year, besides regular holidays.
Any unexcused absence will not be compensated for and may lead to dismissal.
Any modification of the working hours will be subjected to amendment.
5 - DEDUCTIONS FROM WAGES
• Wages are not due for the whole duration of unexcused absence.
• In the event that work would be impossible to carry out due to reasons of the greatest importance or to acts of war / terrorism or any other reason, the wages would be decreased by 50% after a 14-day period of inactivity (calendar days). The X Company will decide whether the agents should be called off duty by with a 5-day notice in written, due to the impossibility to work.
6 - INDEMNITIES
In the event of death or bodily harm directly caused by the implementation of the obligations stipulated in the present contract, the agent or the beneficiary he designated will receive an inclusive indemnity payable upon reception and verification of the appropriate certificates, according to the following guidelines:
• in case of death: sixty times the monthly wages as of the date of death;• in case of permanent disability established by the occupational medical doctor, the following rates will be applied:

All other bodily injuries will be compensated for by means of paid sick leaves, the duration of which will depend upon the gravity of the injury; but they shall not exceed the equivalent of six months of wages.
The indemnities paid under this clause will serve as final settlement of all complaints, and the employer takes no responsibility for subsequent worsening of the employee's condition, once the indemnity has been paid.
The responsibility of the X Company shall be immediately suspended if the agent does not comply with the sanitary instructions given to him by, or with the agreement of, the nurse of the detachment or the doctor he consulted.
Note: The agent mil be granted no other right or privilege than those formally stipulated in the present contract.
