When I installed the Linux version of Greenstone 2.83 in Ubundu 9.1 and opened the user interface initially, it automatically used localhost in the address which was directed to 127.0.1.1 giving an error message. Later I got the user interface correctly at http://127.0.0.1:8282/greenstone/cgi-bin/library.cgi.

Please look into it and check any configuration has gone wrong.
